We Are Off...

We've got our bags packed and
are ready to see our family and
friends in sunny Southern California...
We will be having a Hawaiian adventure, too!
I can't wait to see the ocean, dolphins, and
sea turtles. I'm a little excited to see
all my grandparents, aunts, uncles,
and cousins, too! I even heard a
a little something from a birdie today
about daddy taking me to Legoland!

On Friday mommy and daddy
took me to a place where we could
see my little sis on a big screen...
Mommy said she did this with me too!
We wanted to see if Miss M is looking
anything like I did when I was in mommy's tummy.
At first she wasn't cooperating. She had
one foot and one hand in her face and she
kept pressing herself up against mommy!
They said she is already head down so
that's good for mommy~ but she could move again!
They also told us she has only peach fuzz on her head so
we shall see if her hair grows by the time she is born
or if she stays bald! That's what I think!
Finally she moved her hands and feet out of the
way for them to get a few shots of her cute little
face. We think she looks a bit like moi!

Mommy's Thought for Thursday: 3 Months Left...

Love my 'maxi' dress...

Date night...

Today I started my 3rd trimester.
I have so many feelings swirling around
me regarding this pregnancy and Miss M.
I am so excited to meet her...
I keep wondering what she will look like,
act like, smell like, feel like.

And of course I can't help but think
of Pais. How she will adjust to being a
big sister and having another creature in
the house that will demand a lot of attention
from mommy and daddy. We already
are making adjustments~
Mommy can't quite do the things she use to...

Most important I feel so blessed to have this
experience one more time. There is absolutely
nothing like it. I am feeling ready to
have my body back, but I wouldn't trade this
time for anything. I love feeling my girl
move, especially when I am reading with Pais.
I adore looking down at my fast growing bump.
I am in awe with my body and how it is constantly
changing and growing to house this little girl.

3 months to go until we get to meet our
little girl, Paisley's sister, my daughter.

Piggy Tales: Bug Bites...

This is a conversation I had with mommy
as we were leaving the mall yesterday:

"See that boo boo right there?
I have bug bites!
I have bug bites on my bum...
I have bug bites on my fanny!
(mommy and I are both laughing at this point)
Bugs like to bite you!
Spiders like to chomp chomp on you!

I then looked out my window which prompted me to say the following:
Mommy likes green.
Mommy likes green trees.
Mommy likes green wine..."
Mommy said: "Green wine?"
I replied: "NO!" and then lots of laughter!

p.s. I really do have bug bites on my bum...
and on my legs, back, nose and eyelid!
Yikes! I think mommy and daddy will
spray me down with bug repellent before
they let me run around nakey in the sprinklers again!

His train is out of this world and I
love his roller coaster ride. I am going
to try to convince mommy and daddy
that I need one of those too!

We are thrilled you made it here safely
and I apologize for being so late with

Our family can't wait to see you again in
