Baby Pais...

Lately I have been very interested in hearing
stories and seeing pictures of me when I was
a baby. Mommy and daddy are working hard
to remind me that I started out little too! I think
they are trying to prepare me for my little sister's arrival...
Mommy found this picture on Ya Ya and Papa Terry's
computer. She and I don't recall ever seeing it before.
We are pretty sure this picture was taken about 2 years ago
on my first visit to California. We think this was a Mother's Day
brunch at the Country Club. I got all dressed up!
Mommy made sure I was wearing my shoes because Papa Neal
hatedwhen my feet were cold! I love this picture because I look
so blissful in Nanie's arms. So glad mommy found this picture.
It is a treasure...

On the drive there I started telling

Happy Easter...

Hope your Easter is
full of frolic and fun~
(and a little candy too!)
But beware, sugar highs
from chocolate bunnies and
jelly beans are fab but sugar
lows are no fun at all...
Just ask my mommy and daddy
about my naps this weekend!!!
Sending lots of love to y'all!

Bluebonnet 2009 Sneak Peak...

We hit a field near Brenham, Texas
on our way home from Eliza's pad today...
We brought props, and attitude with us.
This is one of mommy's favorite pictures she took~
She took over 330 total! She was on a roll!

P.S. Stay tuned for more pics.
We will continue what we started last year and
dedicate an entire week to posting our favorite
bluebonnet pictures of the year...
Hope you don't get too bored!
You know we have do it for all the
grandparents living out in Cali!

1 Egg, 2 Eggs, 3 Eggs, And More...

Heading out to the hunt with my pal Ava...
This is serious business peeps!
The mommies were trying for a group shot,
but I wanted nothing to do with it...
(FYI, everyone cooperated but moi!)
I was ready to go get my eggs!
1st, I grabbed my personalized Easter basket
and pink bunny rabbit...

Then, I was off to find my 1st egg~
It was yellow!
Next I found a yellow egg with
paper confetti inside and I poured
it all over the grass...
It was so much fun I actually
smiled for the camera!

At the end of the hunt I was pleased
to find playdoh, cars, balls, and candy
in my eggs. I adore chocolate and
enjoyed devouring my 1st chocolate bunny!
After the hunt, I chose to unwind with a little
park play time with my pal Noah.
We like to take our shoes off and fill them with rocks...
So fun~ but not as fun as finding eggs with chocolate in them!
I can't wait to have another hunt on Easter Sunday!

Wordless Wednesday: Hippo Mouths...

A few weeks ago daddy and I were goofing around
and made mommy a card using this picture.
She came home from yoga class to find the card taped
to the door! The caption read:
"We love you mommy! Hippo Mouth!!"

Shamu, Rides, And A Stolen Stroller Too...

I was mesmerized...
And very serious about 'meeting' Shamu...
Wow! What and amazing show...
Bravo! Now, on to the rides please...
Mommy wanted a cute little picture of me
by the Shamu sculpture but I was more
interested in smelling the flowers and feeling the dirt...
So, daddy had to sit and pose with moi...
We hit a few rides at the park too...
My fave was the Texas Splashdown...
Daddy and I had our very own log to ride in...
Clapping and asking for more
at the end of the ride...
Let's go back soon daddy!

On Sunday mommy and daddy took me to
Sea World in San Antonio to meet Shamu!
They were thinking this was the time to
do it since the weather was still cool and
mommy isn't too big and miserable (yet!)
We stopped at Starbucks to fuel up with
a little coffee cake, and latte's for mom
and dad. We made it to the park before noon
in time to start our adventure~
We were entering new territory...
A day with NO nap!
Could I handle it?
Yes, I did and I did NOT
have any meltdowns or tantrums.
Mommy and daddy were so proud of moi!

I loved the Shamu show, the
dolphin show, the Penguin Encounter,
(I even got to see a penguin go potty in the water!
I thought this was so funny and I am still talking about it!)
The Texas Splashdown Log Ride, and
the kids climbing/tunnel/slide playscape...
The day was close to perfect...
Mommy and daddy even teared up at the Shamu
show (they were so excited for moi!)
Until we walked out of the dolphin show to hit
the rides to find my BOB stroller was stolen!
I was a little traumatized...
I wanted to know where my stroller was.
I didn't understand why someone would take
something that wasn't theirs.
I am still a little perplexed about it.
Sea World security couldn't really
do much about it. So, mommy and daddy
worked very hard to stay calm, pray, and
move on to enjoy the rest of the day.
The upside? I got to cruise around in a blue
car stroller for the rest of the day...
and now I am sitting in style in my old Bugaboo!
Mommy and daddy were going to invest
in a double BOB anyway, right?
Lessons to be learned from our experience:
Don't take an expensive stroller
to a theme park! And remember to have perspective...
it is just a stroller and it is replaceable!
(the baby/kid in the stroller is NOT!)

A Mad Hatter Tea Party...

Just woke up from my nap...
(mommy thinks I look like such a big girl!)

Still feeling a little sleepy but ready to party...
At least I think I am ready to party...

Party pig tails (a new hair clip mommy made), and a dress
were worn for my very first official tea party...

The adorable birthday girl~ Grayson...
Having a little spot of tea with
my pal Ella...

Modeling my newly decorated chapeau...

Festive decorations were placed all over
the backyard. I refused to pose under
these marvelous paper flowers...
Beep! Beep!
Driving with cookies~
What a fun way to spend the afternoon!

Today I went to my pal Grayson's
Mad Hadder Birthday Tea Party!
It was a perfect Austin Spring day...
We played in her backyard, decorated
Mad Hatter chapeaus, swung
at a Cheshire Cat pinata, jumped in a
bounce house, ate cake, and so much more!
It was a lovely introduction to tea parties and
I didn't complain about wearing my party dress, once!
Happy 2nd Birthday Grayson!
