Thanks to all my peeps who came to my Austin party. We had so much fun eating cupcakes, blowing bubbles, making fruit loop neclaces, wearing groovy kid tatoos, and just hanging out at my pad. I also want to say thank you for all my lovely gifts...I really appreciate it!!!

The Birthday Girl!

Well, that's what we ate at my hometown birthday party on Saturday. Mommy was going to attempt to be a domestic goddess and make cupcakes from scratch but it didn't happen. Thank goodness for the local cupcake airstream trailor on South Congress...We ordered a lovely variety. I sampled the vanilla dream...it was scrumptious!

Swings, grilled cheese and trains...oh, my! My birthday adventures continued with a visit to Zilker Park in downtown Austin. Mommy and daddy took me to the park to play and swing. I also got to ride the "Zilker Zephyr" train! Wow! What a treat that was...I was fascinated with feeling the wind on my face and I truly enjoyed waving at all the folks we passed on the

After music I came home to open a few presents and play with my pup Otto before my afternoon nap. Mommy caught me offering him a few blocks to chew on! As you can see in the pics, Otto has taken over my lion chair my Aunt Susan and Uncle Mike sent me! What a plush doggy bed!!!

My day started with a 7:30 am wake up...daddy brought me in to see mommy and my pup! Then mommy and I started our day with play time, a little breakfast and a morning walk to the park so I could swing! I will post more later....

"...and I'll cry if I want to!" Well, yesterday I celebrated my 1st birthday with family and friends in California. Unfortunately, I have been teething and I was not in the best mood! All the people in my face, wanting to hold me, etc. drove me a little over the edge. BUT- I did enjoy eating my very large cupcake! It was delightful. Thanks y'all those for making the trek out to my Ya and Papa's to celebrate. Oh, and merci beaucoup for all my presents! I can't wait to read all my new books and model my new clothes.

p.s. Only 2 more days until my real birthday!!!
