Magnolia Monday...

Mmm, she's just the yummiest
baby sister I know...
But I am a little biased!
We tested out sister's piggy tails,
and viola~ she's rockin' the look,
wouldn't you say?

Sissy is now 9.5 months old...
she's crawling, cruising, climbing,
eating, babbling, and getting into
EVERYTHING!!!

Watch out world,
here comes~

Piggy Tales: Hey God...

Holiday pics from our recent photo shoot
from Dore...We will post more later this week!

Pais: "Mommy, what's this song called?"
Mommy: "Love is all Around."
Pais: "Like God."
Mommy: "Yes, like God. Who told you that?"
Pais: "[Grandma] Dewey."
Mommy: "God is all around you.
You can't see Him, or touch Him,
but you can feel Him in your heart."
Pais: "What's He doing in my heart?"
Mommy: "He's loving you! You can feel His love.
Remember you can talk to God anytime you want.
YOU can hear him answer you in your heart."
Pais: "HEY, God!
Mommy, I just said HEY to God!"

Piggy Tales: Bug Bites...

This is a conversation I had with mommy
as we were leaving the mall yesterday:

"See that boo boo right there?
I have bug bites!
I have bug bites on my bum...
I have bug bites on my fanny!
(mommy and I are both laughing at this point)
Bugs like to bite you!
Spiders like to chomp chomp on you!

I then looked out my window which prompted me to say the following:
Mommy likes green.
Mommy likes green trees.
Mommy likes green wine..."
Mommy said: "Green wine?"
I replied: "NO!" and then lots of laughter!

p.s. I really do have bug bites on my bum...
and on my legs, back, nose and eyelid!
Yikes! I think mommy and daddy will
spray me down with bug repellent before
they let me run around nakey in the sprinklers again!

Piggy Tales: Barney at My Gym...

On Wednesdays I go to gym class.
I am always so excited to go
climb, slide, jump, bounce,
roll, tumble, hang, and play
with my good pals Ella and Grayson.
This week I started talking about the gym
with mommy. It went a little something like this:

Moi:"Barney at gym!"
Mommy: "Barney's at the gym?"
Moi:"Yes."
Mommy: "Who else?"
Moi:"BJ (pause) Baby Bop!"
Mommy: "Wow, I don't know we will have to see...
What are they doing at the gym?"
Moi: "Hiding"
Mommy: "They are hiding?"
Moi: "yes."

Later on that morning we hit the gym.
I went straight over to the trampoline
to jump with my pal Grayson.
I started chatting away about Barney
being at the gym. Grayson's mommy thought
I was talking about bunnies!!! Mommy had to
explain to her my thoughts!
Soon after I got off of the tramp and
walked back to the bathrooms
and started calling after mommy...

Moi:"Look mommy, Barney!!!"
(I was pointing up at the wall)
Mommy: "Oh, yes Paisley you are right
Barney is at the gym!"
(Barney was on a poster back by the changing table!)

Mommy and I said bonjour to Barney
on the poster and went
back to tell our friends all about it!
I knew Barney was going to be at gym class!
I can't wait to see him again next week...

Halloween Piggy Tales~The Finale...

(I promise!!!)

After buzzing around the loop...

We landed at The Hullum Hive

to pick up a few trick or treaters...

While waiting on my pals I sat down to make a little music...

Once we were outside the hive I found 2 Knights~ 

Their shiny armor attracted me (I thought they were flowers at first)...

In between  trick or treating at the Sage Creek Loop hives,

mommy aka 'Queen Abdine,' swooped in to get a few 

honey kisses...

We then made our way back to our hive for a photo op...

(who could resist the appropriately staged hay and pumpkins?)

Before we called it a night, 

we got in a little last minute flying...

And one more photo with my pals and their queen bees!

My story is finished.  

My Halloween tales are officially done!

I promise I will not post anymore on this subject...

Halloween Piggy Tales: Last Minute Costume Change...

My "Bee"utiful Halloween Look

(yes, I know it is soooo last year 

but I am being green and that is 

so 2008, isn't it???)

"Buzzing" through the neighborhood...

Come on pup!  (I mean pup-bee!)

How do you like my costume, pup???

Just 2 little honeybees...

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Missy...

She loved playing dress up and having multiple

costumes for special occasions like Halloween.

Well, in true Missy fashion (which is mommy if you didn't know)

we had a last minute costume change on Friday afternoon.

Mommy and I both were tired of the funky fairy princess 

look and we were ready to move on to something new~

Even if it was recycled from last year (how green of us!)

Mommy zoomed over to Target to pick up some sparkly black 

shoes, she came home, whipped up a flower clip, put my outfit on, 

nose and gold honey "dust" too all in a matter of 1 hour!

We think this is a winner...

Piggy "Tales": The Zoo...

~Piggy "Tales"~
Tale UN: The Zoo

Daddy mentioned to mommy that they needed
to take me to a "real" zoo.
(I guess that one we went to in Houston didn't count!)
So, we came up with a little plan and
I haven't been able to stop talking about it since!
My version goes like this:
Zoo
Choo Choo(ride the train to the zoo)
Ippo
EEE EEE
(Then mommy starts a dialogue with me to help direct my storytelling!)

mommy says:" Paisley do you want to go to the zoo?"
I reply: "yeah"
mommy: "who do you want to go with you?"
me: "Nee, TTT, Ya-Ya, Papa, Kitty, Nanie, daddy, mommy"
(sometimes Eliza gets invited too!)
mommy:"what do you want to see at the zoo?"
me: "Ippo (hippo)
eee eee (monkey)
roar (lion)
boop boop (fish)
baa (sheep)
maa (goat)
boo (cow)
rhino
tweet tweet (birds)
hand motion and trumpeting noise" (elephant)
etc...
mommy: "really? you want to see all those animals?"
me: "yeah, anmalls"

*a little note from mommy:
Pais continues to tell this story among many others...

Alan and I are amazed at how detailed she gets!
She will even tell stories to her "friends"
in her crib asshe winds down from a busy day.
It's as if she won't allow her self to fall asleep
until she expresses how she feels through
her "tales." P is fascinated with animals and is truly
intrigued by nature.We pray that we can continue to nurture
this interest as long as she has it!
