Starbucks! Mommy and I needed a clean restroom and some fuel. An organic apple juice for moi and a grande sugar free vanilla latte for mom. Now we gotta get back on the road again...

Dallas Or Bust...

We are ready! Mommy and I are off to the big 'D' for 2 days! Our bags are packed, we just filled the RR with gas, I've got bubble gum and goldfish and mommy has an icy cold diet coke! Watch out Dallas here we come!

The {Cowgirl Series}...

Mommy calls this her {Cowgirl Series}. Supposedly Miss M would NOT sit still or pose for mom. So, most of the pics are Maggs on the move! All I have to say is 'giddy-up' lil' cowgirl! 11.5 months old and ready to ride the range...

Mommy's Thought For Thursday: My Sugar Magnolia...

My baby is turning ONE.
She is well on her way
to becoming a sassy little lady.
She is no longer a baby.
She climbs stairs.
She feeds herself.
She communicates.
She shows STRONG emotions.
She laughs.
She sings.
She screams.
She cries.
She is FEISTY...
This tiny little baby came home
from the hospital. She ate.
She slept. She pooped.
She cried.
That's all done now.
I ache to hold that little
baby in my arms again.
To nurse that little bird...
BUT forward we move.
As I long for the time I will
never have again, I become
grateful it was ours at all.
The dance continues and now
this little bird is finding her own way
a little bit more everyday.
I am thankful I am her guide.
I am grateful I am able to
dance with her as she continues
to grow. to laugh.
to love.
and
LEARN...
Forward we move.
I celebrate YOU my little
Magpie.
My Sugar Magnolia.
I have grown immensely this year
because of
YOU.
YOU are full of LIFE.
JOY.
LOVE.
LAUGHTER...
and it is so
contagious.

This Little Birdie Has Pink Wheels...

So, my lil' sissy is almost ONE! She is so cute and so much fun! She eats just about anything, she stands on her own and cruises,(no walking yet), she is obsessed with music, putting things in her mouth, babbling, playing with pup, and she adores moi! Can you blame her? She's a daddy's girl, too! Our favorite things to do together include playing in our little pool, sister bath time, evening 'scream' parties with mommy, and singing!


So, as any good big sister should I picked out an awesome birthday present for Magpie...a hot pink car! We decided to give it to her a little early because why not?
