A Tea Party Fit For A Princess...

The invite...
Snacking princesses...
All set for the tea party...
Princess Ella...
Princess Adalyn...
Princess Hannah...
Princess Ava...
Princess Charlotte...
Princess Mia...
The Princess Entourage...

Yesterday I had a little tea party...
6 of my gal pals came over
to eat, sip tea, dress up,
make wands, bead necklaces,
and play, play, play!
My favorite part was putting
rainbow sugar on my bagel,
eating the tea party mints and
mini cupcakes! J'adore treats!
Mommy and I had planned for me
to use my breakable tea set to pour my guests tea,
but as you can see in the pictures we chose
to use plastic cups and paper plates.
I was a little disappointed but mommy explained
that she was trying to avoid a tea party disaster!
My princess guests left with princess
tattoos, Tinkerbell socks, diamond
rings and earrings, and a princess
that I chose for them! This princess
sure had a LOVELY time
and I can't wait
to do it again...
*Mommy says maybe when I turn 4!
Does she really need one full year to recover???

Daydreaming...

Can you imagine a setup like this?
Oh, one can only dream...

I am daydreaming~
Of a warm, sunny spring day
where we can get outside and
set up a picnic and a tea party...
We've had to do all sorts of
picnicking and tea partying indoors.
It's been sooooo cold and rainy.
I am ready for the sun!

"Let the sunshine

Let the sunshine in
The sunshine in..."

A Mad Hatter Tea Party...

Just woke up from my nap...
(mommy thinks I look like such a big girl!)

Still feeling a little sleepy but ready to party...
At least I think I am ready to party...

Party pig tails (a new hair clip mommy made), and a dress
were worn for my very first official tea party...

The adorable birthday girl~ Grayson...
Having a little spot of tea with
my pal Ella...

Modeling my newly decorated chapeau...

Festive decorations were placed all over
the backyard. I refused to pose under
these marvelous paper flowers...
Beep! Beep!
Driving with cookies~
What a fun way to spend the afternoon!

Today I went to my pal Grayson's
Mad Hadder Birthday Tea Party!
It was a perfect Austin Spring day...
We played in her backyard, decorated
Mad Hatter chapeaus, swung
at a Cheshire Cat pinata, jumped in a
bounce house, ate cake, and so much more!
It was a lovely introduction to tea parties and
I didn't complain about wearing my party dress, once!
Happy 2nd Birthday Grayson!

Tea Parties Are For Pups Too...

Pup, would you like some tea?
I set a special place for you at my tea party...
How about a little dab of ketchup in that tea?
Come on pup, tea parties are fun...
Please have some tea.
I made it just for you...
No yawning pup!
Yawns are not allowed at this tea party!

Alice had a tea party with the
Mad Hatter, The March Hare and The Dormouse.
I have tea parties with my "friends"
(like Sophie, and my one eared kitty, etc.)
and with pup. He was the honored guest today.
We set a lovely table using only the finest china~
Pup is very picky about what he licks his tea out of!

I love playing tea party soooooo much!
I am a little obsessed with it right now...
I go around the house exclaiming:
"Everybody tea, yah!"
Mommy is still thinking about hosting
a tea party for me and my pals.
Hmmm, maybe I should have a
tea party for my birthday???
I will have to give that some thought!

Feeding Sophie...

Mommy caught me doing this
with my "pal" Sophie!
Mommy loved how I put a bib on Sophie,
and how I set her up with plates
and silverware (forks, knives, and spoons)!
Mommy could not wipe the smile off her face.
And of course she had to take
a few pictures to document this event!
This was taken in the morning after
breakfast and later that day,
after dinner, mommy and
daddy found Sophie back in my
chair having a spot of tea!
Hope you can take a little time this
weekend to slow down and have
some Christmas tea with one of your pals...
Trust moi, it's good for the soul!

Alice in Central Park...

Mommy's obsession of
Alice in Wonderland continues...
She asked Aunt Summer to take her back to the statue
in Central Park so she could take photos to
show me this crazy tea party.
What fun they had hanging out with
Alice, Dinah, The Mad Hatter and friends!
Last time mommy visited the statue it was a cold
November day and Alice wasn't up for a photo shoot!

p.s. did you know Mommy was in the play "Alice in Wonderland"
3 years in a row? In 3rd and 4th grade she played the Dormouse
and in 5th grade she played The Queen Of Hearts!

Each Peach Pear Plum...

I spy another fantastic read!

In this book
With your little eye
Take a look
And play "I spy"

Mommy picked up this board book version of
The Ahlberg's '70's classic at Half Price Books.
We read it every night before or after "Olivia"
and my "Cleo the Cat" stories.
I love "spying" the different nursery
rhyme characters in the story
and finding them all eating plum pie for
a "tea party" picnic in the finale!
I give it 6 snaps in a "P" formation!

P for Picnic!
P for Picture Perfect!

Tea Party...

Time for tea...
Alice enjoyed the tea party...
Now I want to have a tea party too!
I am thinking of hosting a little tea party...
I love playing tea party with mommy, Sophie doll,
and any family member or friend who is willing!
(Thanks Aunt Drea for teaching me how to play.)

Don't you think these invitations mommy found on Etsy
would be perfect?

J'adore!
