My current fave!

These Usborne touchy-feely board books

are a favorite in my house!

The colorful pictures, with their patches of different textures

are perfect for baby and toddler exploration.

I have enjoyed these books since I was a baby...

I am really into my mermaid book this week.

I love to touch the mermaids hair clip,

shell necklace, bubbly crown, scaly tail, etc.

I also love looking for the little mouse on every page~

in every book!

p.s. I personally recommend these books for travel...

on the plane, in the car, in the stroller!

My pals Ava and Mia have 2 very creative mamas...
They created a line of educational board books
that you can customize with your own pictures.
How chic is that???
Every baby and child loves looking at pictures of
themselves, family, friends, pets, etc.

I can't decide which book I am going
to order for myself...

Mommy picked up this board book version of
The Ahlberg's '70's classic at Half Price Books.
We read it every night before or after "Olivia"
and my "Cleo the Cat" stories.
I love "spying" the different nursery
rhyme characters in the story
and finding them all eating plum pie for
a "tea party" picnic in the finale!
I give it 6 snaps in a "P" formation!

Cleo and Caspar

Tuesdays are the day I will attempt to present a book review...
Or, at least briefly discuss what I am currently "reading!"
This week mommy and I selected "Cleo and Caspar."

Cleo is an adorable cat, who is not too pleased
about the new member in the house~
Caspar, the dog!

Find out what happens when Caspar joins Cleo's family...
I ask for the kitty book at nap time and bedtime.
I never tire of this cat and dog tail!

I also recommend Cleo's Counting and Alphabet Books.
Mommy and I discovered this series through
our friends Mia and Keri.

They had a Barefoot Books party.
Mommy had a hunch that I would enjoy the cat books...
She was right!

Olivia The Pig...

Currently I am obsessed with books...
I can't stop "reading"!
Mommy introduced me to one of her favorite
children's stories this week: " Olivia."

Olivia is a flamboyant little pig who loves to scare her little brother, sing out loud,
visit museums, paint on walls, and
read stories with her mommy.
(Oh, and so much more but you will have to read
the story for yourself to find out!)

I thought this story was so funny, I haven't been able to stop saying" No wah pi."
That means: No painting on the wall pig!
I also enjoy looking at the cat in the story and picking my
favorite outfit Olivia is wearing...
It is different each time we read it!

My love of books gave me this fabulous idea~
I am going to attempt to do a book review
each week and post it on my blog...
