Just a regular night at our pad...
A princess and her glass slippers
sipping soup, an angelic lil' babe eating
prunes, and a pup trying to get a piece of the action~
After we ate, we turned on some standards,
got out the instruments and danced the
night away, like every princess needs to do!
My motto is: "Shake your bodah, shake your BODY every day!"

Lately all I want to play is princess.
This is my deal.
Sometimes I am
Snow White,
Ariel, Belle,
or Sleeping Beauty.
Very rarely am I Jasmine
or Cinderella.
Mommy is always
the witch.
Daddy plays the prince
who rescues me with
a kiss...
Pup is usually a
dragon
or
a
monster.
Maggs
plays a baby
version of the
princess I am
playing.
J'adore my princess dress up
costumes and I am hoping
for at least one more
for Christmas.
I have even taken this
princess thing
so far as to call my poop a
'Sleeping Beauty' poop!
I have gotten very creative
with my pretend play.
I even confiscated mommy's
plastic organizing bin.
I decided it would be
better if I played with it
and made it my
'glass box' that
Snow White sleeps in!
Today I convinced pup
to be 'Pup White' and
sleep in the 'glass box'
with moi!
Daddy had to come and kiss both of us...
Ahh, what a fabulous prince he is.
Mommy is so lucky.
I can only dream that
prince charming will
come my way one day.
I have even told mommy
that I want to marry a prince.
A girl can dream, can't she???

I highly recommend this short
tale about a pup named Fergus.
He likes to go on walks, sniff trees,
potty on cars, eat plants, beg for pasta,
chase after cats and motorcycles, eat
his dinner with whipped cream, hide
when it's bath time, sit in the car
and feel the wind in his hair, and do
tricks for treats! I love reading about
this sweet little pup and his daily life.
If you like dogs, I think you will like Fergus!
Pick it up next time you are at the book store
or the library, I don't think you'll be disappointed!

A New Look For A New Year...

It doesn't help the situation any
when I lounge in his bed...

He is so tempted!

The countdown continues and
the day I turn two creeps
closer and closer and closer!
Today I had the pleasure of
experiencing my 5th haircut!
I was NOT thrilled...
I cried a bit but was
then bribed with a cherry lollipop
and things started looking a little
brighter. I also enjoyed watching
the 'big' girl next to me get her
hair cut too! I am pleased
with the end result. My bangs
are a tad short for my liking but
they have nice movement to them
and I think they show of my big blue eyes!

Grandma Dewey like it too!

I am a girl- Yes, it is true~

But that doesn't mean 

I like to wear dresses...

I am quite clear with  

both my parents what I do 

and do not like to wear.

I typically request pants, 

a shirt, and my tweet or jewel shoes.

No dresses allowed on this toddler's bod!

Mommy thinks she is so clever

telling me dresses are "shirts."

We shall see how long she can 

get away with this one!

Tea Parties Are For Pups Too...

Alice had a tea party with the
Mad Hatter, The March Hare and The Dormouse.
I have tea parties with my "friends"
(like Sophie, and my one eared kitty, etc.)
and with pup. He was the honored guest today.
We set a lovely table using only the finest china~
Pup is very picky about what he licks his tea out of!

I love playing tea party soooooo much!
I am a little obsessed with it right now...
I go around the house exclaiming:
"Everybody tea, yah!"
Mommy is still thinking about hosting
a tea party for me and my pals.
Hmmm, maybe I should have a
tea party for my birthday???
I will have to give that some thought!
