Earth Day Art Project...

{photo courtesy of A Subtle Revelry}

Friday is Earth Day...we are bringing 'green' objects/collections/art, etc in to school
on Thursday for show and tell.
Mommy and I were planning on making a recycled piece of art...
I chose a tree! But, mommy found this bunny mask on one of her
favorite blogs and is thinking this would be a perfect match during
Earth Day/Easter Week!
We can decorate the mask using all recycled materials.
I promise I will take pics modeling my creation!

Taking Pics Of My Sissy...

Tonight mommy piled us in the stroller to take pup out for a walk. I was NOT interested in this activity until mommy handed me her phone. So, I decided to take some pics...

Mommy was pleasantly surprised when she saw the results. She thinks they are artsy and cool...
And I do too!

Catching Up With Me~ Miss P...

I have been a busy gal the past few months! I am growing taller everyday! I still love school and have made some very good friends. My sis and I stay very busy, too! Most days you can find us riding bikes, playing in our backyard or at the neighborhood park or pool. I am practicing my ballet and tap and will have another recital this June. I am very interested in taking Karate with my pal Mollie. I'm going to visit her class and see what I think. Mommy thought I might want to try soccer like my cousin Kate, but I want to try karate instead! I love being outside, getting dirty, climbing trees, riding my Skut or collecting treasures but I must be wearing a dress while partaking in these adventures! No shorts or pants for this gal! Art is a continued passion and most days I spend time creating at least one masterpiece. Lately I have been learning a few 3 letter words, and practicing writing. I am totally hooked on playing Monopoly Jr. And watching Peter Pan, Wizard of Oz, and Tinkerbell and the Great Fairy Rescue. Phew! I think that's a good start to fill you in moi. I'll be back soon with an update on my sis Miss M...

Mommy's Beauties...

Look at these girls...truly I don't think they could be any yummier. I'm soaking all this up. I know they will be teenagers {Oh, help me!} before I blink my eye...

Yesterday we spent the early evening at the neighborhood school playground. I was suppose to go to my yoga class but my sitter was unable to make it and hubby was stranded in Louisiana. I was frustrated. I wanted my 'alone' time. Well, sometimes things don't always happen the way we desire. I let my frustrations go and took a moment to just breathe. I grabbed a hold of gratitude instead. The weather was perfect. I was with my 2 gals on a lovely spring evening. We had no cares in the world. No jobs to do but just be... It was delicious. And just what we all needed. This process of perspective, and allowing myself to be flexible is so freeing. I am learning to find joy in letting go...
Wishing you time to just BE this weekend. And don't forget to breathe!
